The deceased’s friends said that Abdullah, during his life, worked as a journalist in several mass-media such as Rakyat Merdeka and Berita Satu Group. He was last known to work at a TV station’s marketing department.
So far, the details surrounding the victim have yet been confirmed by the Bogor Police Spokesperson Ita Puspita nor Klapanunggal Police Chief Comm. Bimantoro Kurniawan.
The body was first discovered by scavenger Sartika (56) on Sunday, November 18. Sartika often collects used items in the area. “I approached the blue plastic barrel to look for used items,” said Sartika.
She revealed that the barrel was tightly shut and was sealed with duct tape. “I screamed once I opened it and saw a human foot.” Her screams attracted the attention of other residents in the vicinity, while the police arrived at the scene not long after the first encounter. Police say that the body was in a curled position and had bloody shirt inside the plastic barrel.
