Previously, there were 1,441 civil servants who were absent without information. It is 2.2 percent of the total Jakarta provincial administration civil servants, which amounts to 65,332. There were 17,364 other civil servants who were absent with information.
Regarding the sanctions on truant PNS, Head of the Staff Control Division of the Jakarta Personnel Agency (BKD) Wahyono, said it had arranged disciplinary penalties.
“Written warning, all kinds of things. Including this, there will be a warning from us,” Wahyono said.
The regulation governing the discipline of civil servants, which Anies Baswedan would immediately enforce, was contained in Government Regulation No. 53 of 2010.
In this regulation, the civil servants who skip work to five days a year will be subject to verbal reprimand. But according to Pergub 409 of 2015, the civil servants concerned will also be subject to sanctions for not receiving regional performance allowances (TKD) for one month.
