DIPA, TKDD Disbursed, Jokowi: No More Corruption

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo has handed out Budget Implementation List (DIPA) and Regional Transfer and Village Funds (TKDD) to institution heads and all governors in State Palace, Jakarta, today, December 11.


During his speech, Jokowi appeals to all to use the budget for the public interest. He warned them about corruption.


“Make sure every rupiah from the 2019 State Budget is well used for the public interest. Do not corrupt, do not misuse the budget, do not waste it, do not mark it up, or other violation acts,” Jokowi underlined.

The president demands the budget allocation should be spent for main programs, instead of supporting activities. Thus, there will be consolidation and synergy between ministries and central government and regional government. The former Jakarta Governor also asks each state and regional institutions to remove their sectoral ego as it will hinder themselves.


Jokowi orders all state institutions and governors to monitor all progressing activities and budgetary in a bid to ensure that all programs well-run. “Monitor it regularly, monthly or quarterly,” he added.


Each state institutions and governors also demanded to optimize support from internal supervisors. “Make sure this State Budget is used for public interest, from central to village level, as well as for social interest,” Jokowi noted.
