Tempo.co Synergizes with Rombak Media to Create Lab Kinetic

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tempo.co in tandem with online media venture Rombak Media built up media accelerator dubbed Lab Kinetic in a bid to find media startups with strong basic of audiences that had a mission to provide quality information to be developed.


According to Executive Director of Tempo.co Burhan Sholihin, digital media existed to meet the specific and various demand of audiences. “We support media startups with a mission to produce quality and useful content for readers,” said Burhan in a written statement, Tuesday, November 13. “New media will further take over the era with multiple digital contents.”


Lab Kinetic would be launched at year’s end. Verified startups would later be accelerated with various technology, business, and content management. The mentors joined in this program came from several fields, including movie director, businessmen of media startup, YouTube creator, and experts from Google.


Tempo.co also collaborated with Google and used many Google technologies during this three-month program. “This partnership aims to create innovative online media to produce quality content in Indonesia,” Google Search Outreach Manager Wilfred Halim remarked.


Halim expressed his support to Lab Kinetic as it was in line with Google’s mission, which was providing easy access and useful information to the internet users.
