Riot at Mako Brimob, UI Access Road sees Heavy Traffic Jam

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The access road of the University of Indonesia (UI) to Mako Brimob, Kelapa Dua, Depok, is heavily congested after the riot incident at Mako Brimob last night. The traffic congestion can be seen in front of Gunadarma University.
A motorcyclist, Imam Taufik, said the traffic congestion has occurred since 06:00 am. The vehicles must take the far turn to Jalan Tugu Raya and the Military Detention Center (RTM).

"The road in front of Mako Brimob is closed," Imam told Tempo on Wednesday, May 9.
Dozens of traffic police guard and manage the traffic at the intersection of UI Access Road and RTM. The road closure is also done from Tugu Raya T-junction.
The closure was made after the riot at the Terrorist Special Detention Center in Mako Brimob on Tuesday night.
