TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police have named the founder of Nikahsirri.com Aris Wahyudi as a suspect of an illegal business practice which involves a virginity auction. The website has attracted male clients.

“We have yet to find female members,” Police special criminal investigation Director Sr. Comr. Adi Deriyan said on Monday, September 25.

Jakarta Metro Police Spokesman Comr. Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono explained that Nikahsirri.com chooses its members by instructing its potential clients to personally send an email request directly to the suspect.

The next step is to pay a Rp100,000 as a dowry to obtain a username and password after the potential client received an email response from Aris. The username and password will enable the clients to access the database including pictures of website’s partners.

The partners of Nikahsirri.com are people who are interested in becoming brides or grooms, and also the marriage officiant and witnesses.

Since it was launched on September 19, clients of Nikahsirri.com climbed to 2,700 people and 300 partners. Argo suspects that the clients enable to access pornographic images featured on the website.
