TEMPO.CO, Istanbul - A poor man from Ghana is so happy to be performing this year's Haj pilgrimage thanks to an unmanned drone or drone that crashed in his home yard.

The happiness of Al-Hassan Abdullah, a poor man from Ghana, began when he found the drone falling in his yard a few weeks ago. Drone is millik TRT World, a Turkish humanitarian organization.

Abdullah then visited TRT World staff at his home to take the drone. At that time, this innocent man asked if TRT World had a bigger drone to fly it to Saudi Arabia. He wants to run the pilgrimage.

Abdullah's conversation and TRT World staff were recorded and then uploaded to social media to become viral. Abdullah's recorded conversation was also watched by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry then decided to help Abdullah to perform the pilgrimage.

"I am very grateful for this gift of God and pray for everyone who helped me achieve this dream. This help is very meaningful," said Abdullah.

Cihad Gokdemir, the ministry's assistant who greeted Abdullah at Istanbul airport, said the story of the man spread after TRT World staff uploaded his photo on Twitter.

"People including businessmen and private companies are starting to ask about it because they want to help him achieve that dream," he said.

As reported by Naij.com on August 21, 2017, Abdullah will fly to the Holy Land to perform the pilgrimage on the 30th of August 2017.
