TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice President Jusuf Kalla claimed readiness in terms of infrastructure for 2018 Asian Games.
Kalla is optimistic that all the facilities supporting the event will be completed according to schedule.
"It does still require finishing details," Kalla said in Jakarta on Saturday (19/8).
Kalla, the head of the steering committee of the 2018 Asian Games, stated that Asian Games supporting facilities are targeted to complete at the beginning of 2018. The detailed targets of completion for each venue are determined by Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing.
Previously, the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) cautioned Indonesia to finish all of the infrastructures for 2018 Asian Games. OCA in particular highlighted the construction of velodrome and paragliding venue. They demanded the venues to complete by April next year.
