Jakarta Provides 50,000 JackCards for Monas Tourists

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Monas Management Office (KPK) has provided 50,000 JakCard starter packs for the tourists who come to Monas.


The card is used as a means of payment for visitors through the entrance that has been classified for children, adults, and students.


Monas KPK Head, Sabdo Kurnianto expressed, the card itself is sold at Rp 30,000 with nominal balances worth Rp 20,000.

"We've applied non-cash transaction via e-ticketing," he stated, Wednesday (6/28).



In addition to facilitate the visitor, the card user can minimize the occurrence of queue at the entrance.


"Transactions at the entrance can be faster, as the officers also do not have to bother preparing for change," he explained.

He added, Monas ticket price is very affordable. The management only pegged the price by Rp 2,000 for children and Rp 5,000 for adults. To go to the top of the monument, they only pay at Rp 10,000 and Rp 3,000 for student.


"We are committed to realize the Monas that is safe, comfort and clean which aims to entertain them (visitor)," he closed.
