TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia will today visit the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Istiqlal Mosque.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Arrmanatha Nasir said that King Salman will give a speech before the House.
“From Senayan [DPR building], King Salman will head to the Istiqlal Mosque. There, the King will perform sunnah prayer and have a look at the Istiqlal Mosque at close range,” Arrmanatha said in Jakarta on Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
King Faisal of Saudi Arabia also visited the Istiqlal Mosque 47 years ago. The King contributed to the development of the mosque.
