TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government decided to postpone seventh economic policy package and planned to review six previous packages, Coordinating Economic Minister Darmin Nasution said on Thursday, November 19, 2015.

According to Darmin, despite a regulation states that the packages will be in effect on January 1, 2016, the government must have the regulation statistics.

Earlier, the government canceled to announce the seventh economic policy package since President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo had to arrange a visit to Tanah Abang Market with Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull, delaying the finalization meeting.

Darmin said that the cancelation of the announcement caused the package to be a subject of revision.

"There could be additions or deductions in the policy package," Darmin said on Thursday, November 12, 2015.

Edy Putra Irawady, deputy of Industry and Trade at the Coordinating Economic Ministry, said that he was looking at a suggestion from the Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and transmigration Ministry to include a policy related to village fund in the package. However, Edy said that he could not yet confirm whether the policy would be included in the seventh or eighth economic package.
