Garuda Indonesia Opens Ticket Counters in Nabire and Serui

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Garuda Indonesia management have opened ticket sales counter in Nabire and Serui, Yapen Island, Papua, on Friday, August 21.


Acting General Manager Garuda Indonesia Y. Fredrik Atok said the opening of Garuda ticket sales counter in Biak is expected to provide facility to Garuda customers to obtain tickets to various destinations.


“Nabire counter is now operational, while Serui is expected to open in early September 2015,” said Fredrik.


The presence of ticket counters in Nabire and Serui are very helpful in assisting Garuda Indonesia management to increase its service to those who travels by plane.


Pertaining to Garuda passenger arrivals in Biak, arrivals have returned normal with 70 passengers per departur, said Atok.


Garuda fare destinations Jakarta-Biak is priced at Rp 3 million, Biak-Jayapura at Rp 1 million and Biak-Makassar at Rp 1.9 million.
