TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Thousands of commuters have voiced their concern as the Greater Jakarta area's commuter line trains experienced troubles, causing them to be late for work. "We are currently investigating the matter," said Corporate Communication PT KAI Jakarta, Bambang S. Prayitno.


Bambang said that he cannot yet explain cases of delay of commuter line trains that served millions of people from Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, and Tangerang.


Previously on May 1, commuter line experienced trouble in Manggarai Station, causing trains heading Bekasi to be delayed for an hour. The day after, Commuter Line from Bekasi heading Jakarta Kota derailed in between Manggarai and Jatinegara Station.


On May 9, another train derailed near Jatinegara Station, causing thousands of commuter to take alternate routes, As a result, the travel takes up to three times the regular travel time.
