President Xi: China Stronger in 2014

TEMPO.CO, Beijing - China's President Xi Jinping has stated his confidence on the future of China's reformation in his New Year's greetings to his people.
"In 2013, we made an overall plan on comprehensively deepening reform and laid out a grand blueprint together for future development," Xi said in his New Year greeting to all state media such as China Radio International (CRI), China National Radio (CNR) and China Central Television (CCTV).
"In 2014, we are expected to make new strides on the road of reform," he said.
Xi asserted the goal of the reformation to make China stronger and more prosperous, create a social justice and improve the lives of the people.
Reformation and openness are the agenda brought on by President Xi Jinping since his inauguration. The ambitious economic reformation package was approved by 376 members of Central Committee last November. Official media releases said Xi personally leads the reformation plan, the first time by a Chinese Communist Party leader since 2000.
In his speech, Xi expressed his belief in advancement from the practice of policy of reform and openness.
"We have already made countless spectacular achievements. I firmly believe that the Chinese people will create new spectacles," he said.
He has invited all Chinese to work together with people around the world. He has also encouraged his people to realize the revitalization of the China nation.
"Life is always full of hopes. Success always belongs to those who keep forging ahead unswervingly," Xi said.
