Transjakarta's Schedule During New Year's Eve

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Transjakarta’s head of public relations, Sri Ulina Pinem, said on Tuesday that Transjakarta buses would not operate on New Year’s Eve.

On December 31 2013, Transjakarta buses at Corridor I and IX will cease its service from 4 p.m. However, Sri said that bus services would not stop simultaneously as the buses will gradually stop to operate beginning at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Buses will resume operations at 1 a.m. on January 1.

Transjakarta passengers are advised to arrange their travel schedules accordingly as they will not be able to use its bus services during this time period. Passengers are also advised to be wary of any crimes occurring in the corridors during New Year’s Eve celebrations.
