TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Police identified the owner of the motorbike used by the suicide bomber at Poso Resort Police yard. "It has been identified, but we are still investigating the owner," Resort Police Chief, Adj. Senior Comm. Susnandi told TEMPO, Friday, June 7.

Susnandi said the police has yet to conclude the relation between the motorbike’s owner and the suicide bomber. "The motorbike owner is not necessarily involved in the terrorist network. The bomber could have stolen the bike," he explained.

He pointed out that Poso terrorist network often committed motorbike thefts to support their terrorist acts. "So, we suspect the suicide bomber was using a stolen bike this time," Susnadi added.

The police refused to reveal the motorbike owner.

Reports from families claiming to be related to the suicide bomber keep coming but no confirmation on who the real one is.

The suicide bombing was done by a man around 30's. He broke through the Resort Police office in Poso, exploding himself with a high explosive IED at around 08.05 on Monday, June 3. He was the only victim in that incident.
