East Nusa Tenggara Governor: Adonara Clash Must End

TEMPO.CO, Kupang - East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) governor Frans Lebu Raya wants the clash between residents of Redontena and Adobala Villages in East Flores to be resolved immediately to avoid further clash.


"I’ve contacted several elements including local and religious figures of the two villages to conduct a meeting and seek a solution. Security must be restored," Frans told reporters on Thursday, June 6.

East Flores district head Yoseph Lagadoni Herin said he has conducted a meeting with security officers from the police and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). The meeting also involved local figures from the disputing villages.
