TEMPO.CO, Bekasi - Cosmas Refra Kei, Kei family's lawyer, denied that the shooting of Fransiskus Kei a.k.a. Tito Kei on Friday, May 31, was associated with security service dispute. "Both the victim and family had a decent and legal business," he said.

Cosmas expected the police and media not to expose the rumors surrounding the death of his cousin, who happened to be John Kei's brother. The case has been reported to police to be investigated.

Tito is known as an advocate, a profession he took on since 2006. He owned an office at Wisma Mega, Sunter, North Jakarta. The office, said Kosmas, accepts all clients and was well known to the public.

Recently, Tito made his way into political world, submitting himself as a legislator in Papua and awaiting administrative verification.

Cosmas explained that Tito was never involved in security service business and said that he would remain focused on the investigation.
