TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - An Islamic society in one of the largest university in England denounced the murder of Lee Rigby in Woolwich as fake. Hours after the death of the 25-year-old soldier, a Muslim group in London Metropolitan University (LMU) uploaded a video in YouTube that discussed the 'fake blood' used in the shocking incident.

In a string of pictures accompanied by texts, they highlighted the blood in the perpetrator's hand that was existent in one clip but missing in the other. "Where is the blood on his hands that is seen on most of the other videos?" they wrote using a subtitle.

The six-minute video claimed that the "hoax" was sponsored by the state. The video, that has been viewed by 300,000 people, said that the Scotland Yard detectives that investigated the murder are agents of the Freemason community, which is part of anti-Muslim conspirators.

The film even claimed that the witnesses that were viewed as traumatized were also frauds, and ridiculed the people that prayed for Rigby when he was in agony by saying, "These women look very traumatized lol (laughing out loud)."

London Metropolitan University previously came into public's attention when they considered banning the sale of alcohols in university to respect their Muslim students. The Islamic Societ of LMU, that also circulated the video on their Facebook page, had previously called non-Muslims 'evil.'

The university claimed that the video does not belong to their body. "The University is committed to ensuring all its students are free to study in a safe and secure environment," a spokesman said.

The spokesman also said that everyone owns the freedom of expression. "The views expressed by individual students or student societies, including on social media, do not represent those of the University," he added.
