TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of telephone, has died for more than 90 years, yet people can still listen to his voice today.


The Smithsonian magazine reported that a Smithsonian researcher has found Graham Bell’s voice from a historical record using optical technology. The record was found in a disc dated April 15 1885, as written by Smithsoian magazine.

Graham Bell made his first call back in 1876. We can hear his voice saying: “In witness whereof-hear my voice, Alexander Graham Bell.” The recording of Alexander Graham Bell’s original voice from 128 years ago can be accessed at the Smithsonian official website.
