TEMPO.CO, Victoria – A new research from University of Victoria in Canada showed that kids who spend their time playing video games will have a better preparation for social responsibility and can grow to be a good member of the society.
Kathy Sanford, head of the research, observed the behavior of kids from 13 to 17 years-old for five years and discovered that they tend to have an urge to solve problems.
The discovery contradicts previous studies that claimed that video games had negative impacts to children. Nevertheless, Sanford suggested parents to talk to their children about the characters they are playing in the game.
