Morsi Will Reshuffle The Cabinet
Jumat, 19 Oktober 2018 23:37 WIB
TEMPO.CO , Cairo - Mohamed Morsi, the President of Egypt stated his plan to reshuffle the cabinet soon. However, he refused to say that the reshuffling was caused by pressure applied by the opposition party.
“There will be six to eight ministers, and extensive changes among (provincial) governors," he said to Aljazeera last weekend.
The reshuffling, which includes the dismissal of Prime Minister Hisham Qandil, was one of the opposition party's demands. The clash between Morsi and the opposition party has prevented Egypt from getting US$ 4,8 billion loans from the IMF, which intended to recover the country’s economy.
