TEMPO.CO, Cairo – Egypt has decided to walk out from the world nuclear convention as a form of protest towards the failed implementation of Resolution 1955 on Nuclear Free Zone in the Middle East.
In a statement released by Egyptian Foreign Affair Minister, Egypt does not wish to be involved in the two-week nuclear convention in Geneva, saying that the country cannot wait any longer for its (nuclear free zone) implementation.
Officials from United States and Israel said that establishing a nuclear free zone in the Middle East might prove to be difficult, unless Arab countries and Israel can make paece.
