TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi headed to Lampung today, Monday, August 26, 2024, to inaugurate several infrastructures.
The president departed on the Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1 from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 07:45 a.m. Jakarta time.
After arriving in South Lampung Regency, the President immediately continued his journey to East Lampung Regency on the Air Force’s Super Puma Helicopter to inaugurate Margatiga Dam.
Afterward, Jokowi will return to South Lampung to inaugurate some other infrastructures. "The President plans to inaugurate two infrastructures, namely the Bandar Lampung City SPAM (Drinking Water Supply System) and the revitalization of the Pasir Gintung Market. These two infrastructures are expected to benefit the residents," said Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana in a written statement.
During his working visit to Lampung, President Jokowi is accompanied by Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Public Works and Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Commander of the Presidential Security Forces Major General Achiruddin, Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana, and Acting Presidential Military Secretary Brigadier General Heri Purwanto.
