TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Muhammad Yusrizki Muliawan, the president director of PT Basis Utama Prima—a company that is 99-percent owned by PDIP Central Executive Board chair Puan Maharani's husband Happy Hapsoro, is suspected of receiving bribes linked to the corruption case involving base transceiver station (BTS) procurement by the Telecommunication and Information or BTS Kominfo. The total amount he allegedly received was Rp50 billion and US$2.5 million.

Yusrizki allegedly accepted the US$2.5 million from Jemy Sutjiawan as a result of the work on the power system including batteries and solar panel packages 1 and 2. The Rp50 billion was allegedly given by Rohadi as a result of the work on the power system including batteries and solar panel packages 3.

Yusrizki's attorney, Soesilo Aribowo, stated that he could not provide details regarding the material of his client's case. "I am unable to provide a response yet because I haven't had many discussions with my client," Soesilo said via WhatsApp text on Friday, June 23.

In mid-June, the Attorney General's Office named Yusrizki one of the suspects in the Kominfo BTS case, bringing the total number of suspects to eight people.

The other seven suspects are the Telecommunication and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI) president director Anang Achmad Latif, PT Mora Telematics Indonesia president director Galumbang Menak, University of Indonesia's human development expert in 2020 Yohan Suryanto, Huawei Tech Investment's Integrated Account Department's account director Mukti Ali, PT Solitech Media Sinergy commissioner Irwan Hermawan, and Irwan's confidant Windi Purnama.

The total amount of state losses incurred by the Kominfo BTS procurement case is estimated to have reached Rp8 trillion.
