TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian President Joko Widodo or Jokowi submitted his 2022 official wealth report (LHKPN) to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The report revealed that his wealth increased by Rp10.8 billion in 2022.

Quoted from the KPK’s LHKPN page on Wednesday, March 29, the President’s total wealth amounted to Rp82,369,583,676, which is a surge compared to the 2021 wealth report that stood at Rp71,471,446,189.

“The status of the LHKPN is still in the verification process,” as read in the report on Wednesday.

Due to the verification status, the detail of the wealth could not be displayed yet. It was not also known when the KPK will complete the verification.

Jokowi’s Wealth in 2021

In 2021, Jokowi possessed 20 plots of land and buildings worth Rp53,281,696,000. Of the number, 19 plots of land were located across Central Java and one building worth Rp3.5 billion was located in South Jakarta.

Jokowi also had vehicles consisting of seven cars and one motorcycle, as well as machines totaling Rp527,500,000. His other moveable assets were worth Rp357,500,000 and Rp10,047,790,536 in cash and cash equivalents. He also reported having Rp597.550.718 in debts.
