TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - AirNav Indonesia logged 1,523 flights to Bali airspace from November 1-14. The firm’s president director Polana B Pramesti said traffic from and to Bali’s capital, Denpasar shows an increasing trend in traffic as the G20 Summit is held.

"The total air traffic in Indonesian airspace in November reached 4,695 activities, with 1,523 of which were contributed to and from Denpasar, until November 14 or the fourth day before the 2022 G20 Summit," Polana said in a press release, Tuesday, November 15.

Despite the increased traffic in links to the international event Polana ensured that AirNav Indonesia will continue to serve regular scheduled and unscheduled flights.

"We continue to serve regular scheduled and unscheduled flights, but restrict the number of flights per hour to prioritize VVIP flights and State Guests of the G20 Summit Presidency. It is also only limited to Ngurah Rai Airport Denpasar and 11 other buffer airports," Polana explained.

Until November 14, it was dominated by domestic airlines by 56 percent, and 44 percent were international airlines.
