TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Police investigators will question Insp. Gen. Ferdy Sambo again today, September 8, in the murder investigation of Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat a.k.a. Brigadier J. For the examination, the former Head of the Professional and Security Division will take a lie detector test.
Insp. Gene. Dedi Prasetyo, the National Police's PR chief, confirmed the report today when contacted. He said that the questioning will take place at the Criminal Investigation Department's (Bareskrim) Forensic Laboratory in Sentul, Bogor, West Java.
As previously reported, the police had conducted polygraph tests on four suspects and one witness in the murder case of Brigadier J. The suspects are Bharada Richard Eliezer, Bripka Ricky Rizal, Strong Ma'ruf, and Putri Chandrawati. The witness is Susi, the domestic worker at Sambo's house.
Richard Eliezer, Ricky Rizal and Strong Ma'ruf passed the lie detector tests. The result of Putri and Susi's tests had not been revealed by the police.
"The results of the polygraph tests on RE, RR, and KM showed 'No Deception Indicated', meaning they were telling the truth," Brig. Gen. Andi Rian, director of general crimes at the Police Headquarters at the Bareskrim, said on September 6.
Andi Rian said that the polygraph tests were carried out to obtain more evidence. He did not say whether the test results were 100 percent accurate.
