TEMPO.CO, Mataram - The spectators of MotoGP Mandalika can enjoy various entertainment events held surrounding the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, starting from watching concerts, shopping, until the culinary tour of Lombok dishes.

President Director of Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the management of the special economic zone of Mandalika, Abdulbar M. Mansoer, said that MotoGP Mandalika is a spectacular event and pride for Indonesia. "This agenda is beneficial for the people of Central Lombok Regency - West Nusa Tenggara, and Indonesia," he said in a written statement on Friday, March 18.

The following is the list of events that can be enjoyed by the audience of MotoGP Mandalika during the racing event:

BNI Mandalika Music Vibes

The BNI Mandalika Music Vibes concert is held for two days on Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20, at the inner circuit main stage area. A number of musicians, including Slank, Padi Reborn, Maliq & D’Essentials, RAN, Pamungkas, Samsons, Feel Koplo, and Ninda Felina, will perform in the concert.

Shopping at MSMEs Exhibition

The MSMEs exhibitions are held in three spots surrounding the circuit. The first spot is located near the main stage, the second one near Turn 1 of the circuit, and the third one is at East Parking 1. Visitors can shop for Lombok souvenirs and try the dishes in the exhibition during the racing event from Friday to Sunday, March 18-20.

This event is organized and managed by the Ministry of Cooperative and Small and Medium Entrepreneurs of NTB Provincial Government, Central Lombok Government, and Bank Indonesia.

Mandalika Tropical Festival

This festival is held in two days, Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20, at Tanjung Aan beach.

Jajanan Bango Festival

This culinary festival is held in three days from March 18 to 20 at Kuta Beach Park.

Mandalika Weekender Concert

This concert is held at Kuta Beach on Sunday, March 20.

Food Truck Festival

Those who starve when watching the MotoGP Mandalika race can enjoy the foods sold at the Food Truck Festival. This festival is held for three days from Friday, March 18, to Sunday, March 20.

Other facilities such as toilets, prayers rooms, ATMs, and the clinic, can be found in the inner circuit area.
