TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Police arrested a 30-year-old man for throwing a Molotov cocktail at the Jatiwarna Toll Traffic Police Post in Bekasi. The police found a poster related to a conflict case in Wadas Village, Central Java when they arrested the man.

The man, JSP, carried a poster calling to put a stop to the destruction of nature "in the name of development" and "violence by state apparatus". Written on the poster were also two hashtags #WadasMelawan #WadasMemanggil, calling to fight against what happened in Wadas.

When he was arrested, police confiscated two Molotov cocktails, a motorbike, a mobile phone, and a helmet.

The Jakarta Metro Traffic Police spokesman, Comr. Sutikno, said that JSP was arrested early morning on Wednesday, around 4:30 am.

In a written statement, Sutikno said that no police officers were injured from the action.

The case is now handed over to the Bekasi City Metro Police for further investigation.
