COVID-19 Update: Nine Provinces Log Zero Cases on Monday

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The COVID-19 task force has released the daily case growth report as per Monday, November 15, showing additional 221 cases and a total caseload of 4,251,076 cases since the virus first entered Indonesia in early 2020.
The 221 cases found on Monday came from the test results of 242,422 specimens. As of Sunday, there were 8,522 active cases, down by 496 cases compared to the previous day.
Regions that contributed to the national growth were Jakarta, West Java, and East Java with 36, 27, 27, and 26 cases, respectively.
However, there are 27 provinces that recorded below ten cases with nine provinces logging zero cases. The COVID-19 task force also announced 706 new recoveries, which added to the total of 4,098,884 recoveries. Monday also recorded 11 deaths, bringing the total death toll to 143,670.
