Indonesia Covid-19 Update; 1,484 New Cases, 75 Deaths

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Covid-19 Task Force released the latest data on daily Covid-19 cases as of Wednesday, 6 October. Over the last 24 hours, 1,484 more cases were logged.

With today's numbers, Indonesia has a total caseload of 4,223,094.

Four provinces recorded more than 100 new cases. Jakarta with 203, Central Java with 166, East Java with 158, and West Java with 104 cases.

The Task Force also reported 2,851 new recoveries, bringing the number of Covid survivors up to 4,052,300.

The new coronavirus is still taking Indonesian lives. Today 75 more deaths were reported, raising the casualty to 142,413.

As of today, Indonesia still has 28,381 active cases of Covid-19.
