TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Yogyakarta Smart Park management canceled its plan to reopen under trials basis during the Level 3 PPKM implementation. In replacement, they reopened the Gembira Loka Zoo and launched two virtual services.

Continuing the success of its Sciensation Virtual Tour, the park—managed by the Yogyakarta City's Department of Culture unit for the management of cultural parks—launched two new services, the 'Smart Park Virtual Guide' and '360-degree Smart Park'.

"These services are expected to be able to assist tourists in learning various sciences and cultures in a pleasant atmosphere," the Culture Department's section chief for cooperation and marketing, Karmila, said on Tuesday, September 28.

Karmila said that people who want to view the 'Taman Pintar 360 Derajat' will be given access after registering.

Meanwhile, the Virtual Guide allows online visitors to connect to the Smart Park's Youtube channel, which features video tutorials from the park's guides.
