Jakarta Emergency Covid Hospital Discharges 255 More Recovered Patients

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta's apartment-turned-hospital, the Wisma Atlet Covid-19 Emergency Hospital, discharged more patients. On Monday, August 9, the number of patients who recovered increased by 255.

The hospital's spokesman, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, said in a written statement today that, overall, the Wisma Atlet has now discharged 120,924 recovered patients.

As of Monday, the hospital is treating 1,779 people—886 men and 893 women.

In other emergency Covid-19 hospitals, Rusun Nagrak and Rusun Pasar Rumput, the numbers of active patients treated are 55 and 280.

Aris also delivered the latest update from the Special Hospital for Infectious Diseases (RSKI) in Galang Island, Riau Islands.

He said that from April 12, 2020 to August 9, 2021, the Galang Island Hospital has registered 15,371 people, with 7,822 recovered patients and 7,297 Covid-19 suspects who have completed treatment.
