TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Two suspected terrorists who were arrested in Condet and Bekasi had been seen coming to the East Jakarta District Court, to attend the trial of former FPI leader Rizieq Shihab. The police said that they have photographs of the suspects in court.

"We received photos of the suspects, HH and ZA, attending the trial," Jakarta Metro Police spokesman, Sr. Comr. Yusri Yunus Yusri, said in Jakarta on Tuesday, March 30.

Yusri said that ZA and HH were also observed to have frequently participated in FPI activities. Despite having proof, Yusri said the police need to conduct further investigations about the connection between the suspects and FPI.

"It is still too early to determine which networks [the terrorists are linked to]," Yusri said.

In a press conference at Polda Metro Jaya on Monday, investigators showed some evidence obtained during the arrest of the two terror suspects. The evidence shown includes several swords and books as well as attributes of FPI, including a book titled 'FPI Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Munkar'.

Tempo also noted that there were two ID cards for memberships in FPI under the name Husein Hasny. There were also VCDs and posters of Rizieq Shihab.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Metro Police Chief Insp. Gen. Mohammad Fadil Imran said he did not want to make speculations as investigators are still developing the case.

"What's important is for us to be able to monitor, detect and prevent acts of terrors in Jakarta," Fadil said.

On Monday, March 29, the police arrested four suspected terrorists in Cikarang, Bekasi, and Condet, East Jakarta. Fadil said that the suspects each had their own role, such as assembling bombs and obtaining funds.
