Bogor Enacts Curfew, Bans Firecracker during Christmas, New Year

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Bogor Regent Ade Yasin instructed public areas and crowd centers to close early during the Christmas and New Year holidays. He sets the curfew at 19:00.
"Business actors [must] limit their operating hours to no later than 19:00," Ade Yasin said in Cibinong, Tuesday, December 22.
The rule will be enacted from December 24 to 27 and from December 31 to January 3, 2021.
The regent's instruction also prohibits new year 's eve celebration both indoors and outdoors, and bans the sales-purchase and use of firecrackers, fireworks, trumpets, and other types of celebratory props.
Ade Yasin said that business actors who violate the rules will be subject to sanctions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
