No More Covid-19 Green Zone in Bogor Regency

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bogor Regency in West Java continues to record red zones for Covid-19 infection.
"Thirty-nine districts are categorized as red zones, one orange zone, and no green zone," said Bogor Regent Ade Yasin in Cibinong, Bogor Regency on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.
One districts categorized as orange zone is located at the northern corner of Bogor Regency, which is the Tenjo District. Tenjo District records zero Covid-19 infection and two suspected infections.
Within the last week, since December 17, 2020, five districts categorized as orange zones are turning into red zones, such as Pamijahan on December 18, 2020, Tenjolaya on December 19, 2020, Cigudeg on December 20, and Nanggung on December 21, 2020.
As of Monday, December 21, 2020, the Bogor Regency Covid-19 Task Force recorded 4,740 Covid-19 patients with 3,987 patients recovered, 73 patients died, and 664 patients remains infected.
Bogor Regency Covid-19 Task Force spokesman Irwan Purnawan mentioned that although 39 out of 40 districts are categorized as red zones, but the national Covid-19 task force continues to note Bogor Regency as orange zone in general.
"Different methodology, we determine redzones based on the presence of a resident infected with Covid-19, meanwhile the national task force based on many factors, one of which is comparison with resident population," said Irwan.
