TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The North Jakarta government has again found businesses that violated lockdown rules, or Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) as it is locally called. Two restaurants and one hair salon in Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok were forced to close by officers on Thursday, September 24.

The district chief of Sunter Agung, Danang Wijanarko, said that the business places were operating against PSBB rules.

Hair salons are not allowed to open during PSBB, while the restaurants did not implement the Covid-19 prevention protocols.

Restaurant managers are obliged to regulate queue distance, provide handwashing sinks, and not serve dine-in meals. "If they violate those, we will impose administrative fines," Danang said.

Since the implementation of a second lockdown in the Indonesian capital, the Tanjung Priok Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) has temporarily closed 11 business establishments in North Jakarta, from diners, beauty clinics, offices, to massage parlors.
