TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Agency temporarily closed eight offices of private companies following findings of COVID-19 confirmed cases among employees.

“We have followed the report by closing the eight offices,” said the agency head Andri Yansyah on Wednesday, July 29.

However, Andri stopped short of detailing the names of the offices. Based on the agency data, a total of 692 companies had been inspected on June 19-July 2. Of these, 632 offices had abided by the health protocols, and two were shut down temporarily.

Andri added employees tested positive must undergo isolation for 14 days, while others must take rapid or swab tests. As for those who are free from the virus are asked to work from home as the offices are closed for three days for sterilization.
