TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Two Indonesians who just tested positive for the COVID-19, named as Case 3 and Case 4, did not develop symptoms of the new coronavirus, said Sulianti Saroso Hospital or RSPI president director Mohammad Syahril.

“They did not show symptoms,” said Syahril at RSPI, Friday, March 6.

Syahril said the two new patients checked themselves into the hospital as they had contact with the first two confirmed cases, Case 1 and Case 2. He ensured that they were families.

According to Syahril, the new patients underwent laboratory tests there days ago and were placed in the isolation room afterwards.

They are now in good condition and do not use an oxygen ventilator as they do not suffer shortness of breath during the observation period.

Therefore, Syahril appealed to the public to check themselves into the hospital if they had been in contact with the four coronavirus patients considering that the situation could be dangerous if they did otherwise.

Following the naming the two new patients, Indonesia now has four confirmed cases of the COVID-19 and five other people are being treated in the isolation room of the RSPI. A suspected coronavirus patient died on March 5 and had been buried.
