TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) recorded 69 streets that remain flooded one day after the peak floods on Tuesday. The following data is from the BPBD’s recapitulation on Wednesday, February 26, accessed at 06:00 Indonesia Western Time (WIB):

Central Jakarta sees 5 roads still submerged under 10-550 cm of floodwater due to high-intensity rain. In North Jakarta, as many as 17 roads are inundated by 5-7 cm of water.

As many as 35 roads in West Jakarta are still flooded under 10-50 cm of water. In South Jakarta, 3 roads are inundated under 10-60 cm of floodwater due to heavy rain.

Lastly, 14 roads remain flooded in East Jakarta due to the combination of heavy rain and river overflow from Cipinang River, Utan Kayu River, and Kalijodo River.

All of the locations above in Jakarta are being mitigated by the local Public Facility Maintenance Agency (PPSU) and the Jakarta Water Resources Agency (DSDA).
