TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A total of 237 Indonesian citizens (WNI) who were trapped in Wuhan, China, will be returned to their respective homes on Saturday, February 15, 2020. The 14-day quarantine period in Natuna, Riau Islands, since February 2, ends tomorrow at 12.00 local time.

The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) will be involved in the returning of the quarantined citizens. Tomorrow, all Indonesian citizens will be flown first from Natuna to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta.

“The BNPB has prepared transportation, logistics, tickets, and pocket money for them," said the Chief of the BNPB Disaster Information and Communication Data Center, Agus Wibowo, when contacted by Tempo, on Friday, February 14, 2020.

Agus said the returning of the quarantined citizens would involve a number of other ministries, such as the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Ministry of Health will notify the local governments of each citizen and provide the citizens with a health certificate.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs will be responsible for arranging the return of each Indonesian citizen from Halim to their homes. It has been planned that all the quarantined citizens, originating from 30 provinces in Indonesia, will be returned home via flight. "The families will wait at their respective provincial airports," Agus said.
