The ministry that is lead by Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan has reprised his position as coordinating minister for Jokowi’s new cabinet from 2019 to 2024.
“Coordinating minister of maritime affairs and investments bears the task to conduct coordination, synchronizations, and controlling matters among Ministries in the field of maritime affairs and investments,” said Article 2 of the presidential decree in the Cabinet Secretary’s official website.
One focal point in the decree is the task to solve issues that take place between State Ministries. The Coordinating Ministry is also authorized to escort policies that are produced in a cabinet
