TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Executive Director of Indonesia olitic Parameter Adi Prayitno predicted that President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo will reshuffle his cabinet in the next year.

Adi argued that in the current cabinet structure, there are several names which background does not match with the ministry's portfolio. For example, Adi mentioned the Religious Minister Fachrul Razi and Minister of Education, Culture and Higher Education Nadiem Makarim

Should the two ministers cannot show their performance, Adi predicted that they will be immediately replaced by President Jokowi.

"In one year there may be a reshuffle," Adi said on Saturday, October 26, 2019.

Adi asseredt that Jokowi during his first speech at the inauguration event on October 20, 2019 said that he will not hesitate to dismiss ministers who are not serious in doing their work. During the reshuffle, Adi predicted that the Democrat Party and the National Mandate Party will join the cabinet.

The two parties continue to hope to be part of the cabinet. Therefore, they never explicitly mentioned that they will be the opposition. In turn, the two parties often use the term 'critical partner' of the government.

Adi also mentioned the presence of a main list and second list containing names of President Jokowi's Cabinet ministers. The main list contains the names of the people currently working as ministers, while the second list serves as a waiting list
