Transjakarta Reroutes Its Lines following Demonstration at DPR

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Transportation company Transjakarta implements the route engineering to its several lines following the student rally in front of the parliament building on September 24. This afternoon's rerouting will be applied until uncertain time.

"We're conducting the rerouting considering that several locations cannot be passed until the situation returns to normal," said Nadia Diposanjoyo, the company's head of corporate and public relation secretary division in a written statement today, September 24.

The followings are the rerouting of Transjakarta's trip:

Line 1B: Bus from Stasiun Palmerah heading to Tosari is rerouted to Jalan Asia Afrika and will not stop at the Sports Ministry building until Benhil.

Line 1F: Bus from Stasiun Palmerah heading to Tosari will not stop at the Sports Ministry office until Semanggi.

Line S41: Bus from Pondok Cabe heading to Tanah Abang will not stopa at Istora Senayan until Block G pedestrian bridge.

Line T11: Bus from Bundaran Senayan heading to Poris Plawad will not stop at Senayan JCC and Slipi Petamburan bus stops.

Line 5A: Bus from Grogol heading to Kampung Melayu will not stop at Badan Pengawasan Tenaga Nuklir (Bapeten) and BPKP

Line 9: Bus from Pinang Ranti heading to Pluit will not stop at Senayan JCC and Slipi Petamburan.

The students today, September 24, continue to stage a rally at the House of Representatives (DPR) complex, protesting the ratification of several laws and bills deemed problematic, including KPK Law revision and RKUHP or criminal code draft bill.
