TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Narcotics Directorate of Jakarta Metro Police apprehended illegal drug dealer identified as 'E' who was allegedly the drug supplier of methamphetamine for comedian Tri Retno Prayudati or popularly known as Nunung.

The arrest was a follow-up investigation of the comedian drug case.

“[He is] nabbed on Sunday, July 21 in Bogor,” said the head of narcotics division, Adj. Sr. Comr. Jean Calvijn Simanjuntak via Whatsapp app, Wednesday, July 24.

Calvijn was tight-lipped to detail the chronology of the arrest and evidence confiscated from the dealer. He explained that the police are still developing the case in a bid to uncover broaden networks of narcotics dealers.

“We are developing [the case] to a higher level,” Calvijn said.

Previously, Jakarta Metro Police arrested Nunung, her husband July Jan Sembiran, and drug dealer Hadi Moheryanto a.k.a. Tabu on Friday, July 19. The police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Argo Yuwono said that Nunung was nabbed at her house in Tebet, South Jakarta.
