Kalla Talks CPO Discrimination during Visit to China

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Vice President Jusuf Kalla asked a number of countries to stop their discriminatory treatment to the oil palm (CPO ) industry. Kalla made the statement when attending the Leaders Roundtable Belt and Road Forum in Ji Xian Hall, International Convention Center (ICC) in Beijing, Sunday, April 28.

"This discriminatory treatment disguises under the name of 'sustainable palm oil'," the Vice President said in Beijing yesterday.
In his address, Kalla asserted that oil palm contributes significantly to Indonesia's efforts in achieving sustainable development goals.
