TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Candidate for vice president 02, Sandiaga Uno, promises that he will abolish the National Examination (UN) if elected. "We will make sure that the UN system is stopped, replaced by tracing the interests of talent," said Sandiaga in the vice presidential debate which is the third round of debate in Jakarta, Sunday, March 17, 2019.

Sandiaga Uno said that his party will improve the national curriculum to focus on students' noble characters. "We also have the concept of a "link and match" school where job providers are connected with educational institutions," he said.

Since 2015, national examinations are no longer used as determinants of graduation and prioritize the National Examination Integrity Index or IIUN. National Examination is used for education mapping. The UN score has also decreased from year to year.
