TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A total of 4,500 tickets of singer Tulus' concert dubbed Monokrom has been already sold out within three hours after they were on sale, CEO PT Melon Indonesia Dedi Suherman announced during a press conference at Hard Rock Cafe, Jakarta, Tuesday, January 5.
According to Dedi, the management did not anticipate the public’s high enthusiasm toward the concert. “We initially take this easy and prepare [the event] as usual. Surprisingly, in the first half hour [of the ticket sales], the [online ticketing] system is almost down,” he explained.
Rajawali Indonesia CEO Anas Syahrul seconded Dedi’s statement. “This is a proud new achievement for Tulus,” he said.
Due to overwhelming support for the singer-songwriter, the promoter offered 250 tickets on sale that can be purchased at Istora Senayan. “We prepare 250 tickets more for sale at Istora starting 10 a.m,” he noted.
The Rolling Stone Indonesia-winning singer did not expect his music concert would receive a huge positive response since the ticket sales. Tulus pinned hope that tonight's concert, Feb. 6, would bring an attractive and memorable moment for fans.
Monokrom is the biggest concert of Tulus for the past seven years in the music world. Tulus will collaborate with an architect Wiyoga Nurdiansyah who designed the stage and Papermoon Puppet Theatre that will present different visualization on stage.
