TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Bogor Botanical Gardens manager decided to close the tourist site for public today due to unfriendly weather conditions. Since morning, December 17, the city of Bogor has been very strong winds.
Official says that the gardens will be closed until further notice.
"It will be closed for public until further notice from the manager," the Bogor Botanical Gardens-LIPI's PR officer Ayi Doni Darusallam said on Monday.

Park managers believe it would be best to close the garden for safety reasons, such as preventing visitors from risks of being hit by broken branches due to strong gusts hitting Bogor.
"Those who have booked tickets can still enter the garden, but we will arrange and decide which areas are safe for them," he remarked.
These areas, he said, include parks with few tall trees such as open areas near the Bogor Zoology Museum and the Seed Bank.
